• First you’ll learn how reflected light, cast shadows and misty fog can be used to convey a snowy mountain landscape, next we’ll paint the evening glow of a winter sunset on lush snow-covered evergreens, then let’s enjoy painting  frozen mountain streams with  beautiful backgrounds & lastly capture the beauty of animals in winter’s snow.

• Mosaic All Day Class - (Class link)
• $120 each or 2 for $200
• Learn to create your own 3D mosaic critter or rectangle picture in this super fun and relaxing class.  These pieces are perfect for your wall indoors or out.  You will learn all the steps needed to create your piece from start to finish including designing your piece, color choices, cutting glass, gluing, and grouting. You will leave class with a piece ready to hang.  These all-day classes are larger projects than the half-day workshops with more details and customization.

Saturday, January 25th, 2-5pm

• ​Dreamy Landscapes in Acrylics with Jen Livia (class link)
• $49 each or $64 with all supplies
• In this colorful and messy class with Jen, you will learn to create using fluid acrylics, heavy-body acrylics, and hi-flow acrylics to create a dreamy landscape. You will learn how and when to control color mixing and when to let the magic happen on its own. We will work with these vibrant and fun paints to create dramatic skies, mountains, trees, and much more.

Sunday, January 26th 1-4pm

• King of the Jungle, A majestic Lion - Watercolors with Phyllis Gubins (class link)
• $55 or $70 with all supplies including an 11x14 mat for your finished painting

You’ll be guided through each step of painting the realism in this majestic lion. First you  will learn how to paint his gentle eyes because that brings your painting to life. Next we’ll complete his face with his soft expression and finally we’ll add his dramatic fur as we mix realistic elements in a fanciful style.  A detailed reference sketch will be provided.

Saturday, February 1st 12pm - 3pm

• Colorful Glass Bottles with Shadows and Reflections - Watercolors with Phyllis Gubins (class link)
• ​$55 each or $70 with all supplies included plus an 11x14 mat
• Glass is a perfect subject for transparent wet-in-wet practices. When using glazes of transparent watercolors you can create the illusion of seeing each bottle through the one in front of it. These techniques give the glass its sparkle & glow. Transparent watercolors are the perfect way to create these beautiful images. Sketches will be available of a variety of bottle shapes for you to select, so no drawing skills are needed.

Wednesdays Feb 5th - 26th 12pm - 3pm

• ​Peaceful Scenes in Watercolor - Weekday Watercolor Series with Phyllis Gubins - (class link)
• $200 each and $60 Supply Fee Due at 1st Class (includes all supplies)
• Each week we will create an artistic scene that reminds us of things or places of serenity that just make us feel good.
• Sketches will be provided, so no drawing skills are required and these classes are for every level of painter, from absolute beginner to advanced. A variety of different techniques will be taught in each class.

Saturday, February 8th 1-4pm

• Fruits and Flowers in Acrylics with Jen Livia (class link)
• ​$49 each or $64 with all supplies
• Create a couple of mini paintings in this fun colorful class, you can choose from a variety of fruits or flowers. These little paintings are a great addition to any kitchen or shelf, they add a pop of color anywhere you place them.
• Jen will teach you how to add layers of color and how to use her favorite Glazing Liquid to make your paintings have a sense of depth and look so real you could smell them.
• If you bring your own supplies 6x6, 8x8, or 8x10 canvases are recommended.
• Bring multiple smaller pieces if you want to explore a variety of ideas.

• Glass Mosaic Half-Day Class - Rocks, Ornaments, and Small Projects - Class Link
• $64 each includes all supplies
• Choose from a variety of fun-shaped ornaments, rocks, or small wood pieces to transform into a colorful unique addition to your home.  We will lead you through all of the steps needed to create your pieces from choosing the best colors, design,  cutting, grouting, and more.  You will leave class with a finished piece ready to put into your house or garden. We have a wide variety of shapes and designs to choose from or bring your own idea and we will help you create it.

February 16th 2-4:30pm

• Octo Dance Paint and Pint at Poseidon Brewery - Class Link
• ​​​​​$39 each includes all supplies and 1st Pint
• Paint your own whimsical octopus with movement and attitude in this fun afternoon class with Jen. You will learn how to make moving water and a textured octopus. Choose your own colors to add your own personality to the painting. Drawing will be pre-sketched on the canvas before you get to class so you can focus on painting your piece. 

Saturday, February 22nd 11am - 3pm

• Take Flight Acrylics with Marco Aguilar (class link)

• Paint the day away with Marco in this class all about light and movement. You will learn a variety of techniques as Marco leads you in painting your own version of his painting. Learn to paint a sun-kissed ocean with moving water, sun reflections, and the star of the painting, the egret in flight full of layered feathers and more.

• $70 with all supplies including mats, deckled watercolor cards. watercolor paper & deckled envelopes
• Learn how to save lots of money and create your very own personalized greeting cards. Translate the beauty of flowers, landscapes or seascapes into several expressive colorful greeting cards or mini paintings. A perfect and fun  way to practice all the techniques and  subjects you have wanted to paint without a huge commitment.  You'll  create numerous lovely greeting cards. This technique can become your daily warm-up, while you produce a very useful & appreciated piece of unique art to share with your friends and family.  Numerous  images will be provided for inspiration so drawing skills required.

Sunday, March 2nd 1-4pm

• Learn to Paint Animals in Acrylics with Jen Livia (class link)
• $49 each or $64 with all supplies
• Learn to paint any animal you can think of in this class, including your own pet. Jen will teach you a variety of tricks and techniques to turn your image into a painting with personality and depth. You will learn how to paint eyes with personality, fur with depth, add volume to your animal, and so much more.
• There will be lots of sample images to paint from or bring your own image printed full-size on an 8.5x11 piece of printer paper or email your image to jen@redbrikcart.com so it is ready for you in class. You will leave class with a finished painting ready to hang.

Wednesdays March 5th - March 26th 12pm - 3pm

• Water In All of Its Beauty - Weekday Watercolor Series with Phyllis Gubins - (class link)

• From the gentle still waters of a pond to the turbulent white-water waves of a stormy sea you will have the opportunity to paint each water subject and learn to create movement and sparkle.
• Sketches will be provided, so no drawing skills are required and these classes are for every level of painter, from absolute beginner to advanced. A variety of different techniques will be taught in each class

March 23rd 2-4:30pm

• Beach Buddies Paint and Pint Class at Poseidon Brewery - Class Link
• ​​​​​$39 each includes all supplies and 1st Pint
• Paint your own pets into your beach sunset painting at Poseidon Brewing with Jen. You will learn how to paint a soft sky, moving water, reflections on the ocean and soft sandy beach. You can then add your own pet/s into the painting, Jen will have a variety of dog and cat shapes you can transfer onto your canvas to paint and make it look like your own. 

April

April 27th 2-4:30pm

• Surfer Silhouette Paint and Pint Class at Poseidon Brewery - Class Link
  
• ​​​​​$39 each includes all supplies and 1st Pint
• Learn to paint a vibrant sunset with a textured sky with clouds, rolling water and distant islands. You will then add in your own surfer silhouette (choose from a variety of sketches both male and female to add to your painting), Jen will teach you how to easily transfer the image and paint it with shadows and hi-lights. Add some sunset birds to the sky for some extra magic.
